The event, which runs from 10am to 4pm, is being organised by Totally Locally Keighley, an initiative which encourages people to shop with local independent businesses, in conjunction with Bradford Council’s Markets team.
Stalls at the event will be selling a wide range of locally produced items including jewellery, handmade wooden items, handmade ethical clothing, honey, wax melts, bath-bombs, ceramic coasters.
Also on sale will be ornaments, cake toppers, gems, perfumes, hair products and accessories, pocket money toys, gifts, gift sets and hampers.
On offer will also be sample treatments of reflexology, reiki, head and shoulder massage and pain-relieving treatments Local artists from Keighley Creative will also be selling their work including paintings, prints, illustrations, hand-painted vases and resin gifts.
Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Regeneration, Planning and Transport said: “Having a pop-up craft market is a great idea to encourage new customers to the market.”
Becky Croft from Totally Local Keighley said: “We have some fabulous small local craft businesses in and around Keighley so we thought hold a craft fair in the market would help those that don’t have shops in the town centre to be able to reach new customers, as well as bring new customers to the market.”
