Planning proposals for Bradford Council’s new food market have been published bringing the major Darley Street project one step closer to becoming a reality.
Dramatic new artist’s impressions accompany plans which feature a spacious modern market with dedicated underground servicing areas and a dynamic new public space for open air events and outdoors stalls.
The Council believes the new development would add to Bradford’s draw as a shopping and leisure destination and attract more people into the city.
It would also increase the visibility of Piccadilly which features a number of high quality Victorian buildings.
The application marks the beginning of a second phase of consultations on the project which began earlier this month with a series of drop in sessions.
The authority is interested to find out people’s opinions on the plans and an online survey has been set up to capture local views.
Remember the deadline for the survey is 18th March 2019.
