Fried chicken is a high street fast food favorite in Bradford and you are never far away from a takeaway that has it on the menu but while it may fill a hole in your stomach, it’s not very healthy and really does not feed your body very well.
Our recipe this month is taken from Jamie’s Classic Comfort Food Book. This is a really easy and friendly recipe using the oven to finish of the chicken rather than having to deep fry it. The dish comes with healthy oven baked sweet potato, a source of four essential micro-nutrients including vitamin C, thiamine, potassium and manganese and it is served with delicious Red Cabbage Pickle.
