Watch free family films with popcorn to boot in our market…

To celebrate the Bradford UNESCO City of Film’s annual Bradford Family Film Festival, special screenings of family films will be taking place at the Oastler Market.

A pop-up cinema at the back of the market will be showing the films on Saturday’s at 11am-1pm throughout August.

Hop on! The Market Shuttle bus is back on John Street

The Council have been working with local bus company TLC to make it easier for people to get to the Oastler Market. A new shuttle bus service is being launched that will run between the Interchange and the Oastler Market at the top of town. An initiative welcomed both by traders and shoppers, should see an increase in footfall in both city centre markets. Read More

It all Spooks with us this Halloween, we have ghoulish activities lined up at the ready across our markets!

Oastler Shopping Centre – Saturday 28 October 12.30-4.30pm

The Young Master’s Visual Art School will be running a mummy-making workshop. Under threes will be able to make a masking tape mummy and older children will be able to make their very own 3D repositionable mummy.Read More

Young Masters get Creative in the Wonderful World of Art

The Summer Arts & Crafts Fair in the Oastler Centre went down very well with local children with the help of the Young Masters Visual Art School. Gemma and Sharon from YM collected scrap from market traders for children to shape, paint, sell and play mini market traders in a mini stall! The stall resembled a mini creche and we look forward to hosting more childrens activities by Young Masters. Read More

August Summer Arts & Craft Fair in Oastler Centre

Oastler Centre: Saturday 26th August 11.00-15.30pm

Celebrating the work of local watercolour artist, Barry Langroyd Hanson, the market will exhibit his stunning paintings of Bradford and Cameroon. The paintings are all up for sale and any enquires can come directly through to Khansa Tufail at Markets Office. There will also be prints and greeting cards from Barry on sale and he will be on the stall painting live on the day.  Read More
