Bid to make sure you get Real Deal

Shoppers will be getting the real deal at markets across the district after Bradford Council yesterday made a commitment to keep them free of fake goods.

The Council has signed up to the Real Deal National Markets Charter  for its markets at the Oastler Shopping Centre and Kirkgate Market, Keighley Market and Binglley and Shipley Open Market. 

Stringent vetting procedures have been introduced to ensure counterfeit goods are not sold.  Trading standards officer are thrilled to be working with Bradford Markets on this initiative which demonstrates a joint commitment to ensuring consumers  and local businesses are protected from unscrupoloustraders selling counterfeit goods.

The Real Deal charter is part of a nationwide scheme to keep dealers in counterfeit goods from UK Markets and Car Boot Sales.
